Center had denied purposal of inclusion of 17 most backward castes in scheduled caste

Putting an end to the decade long campaign of the Samajwadi party, the Center has rejected the proposal of the UP government for the inclusion of 17 Most backward castes (MBCs) in schedule caste list.  In last ten years the Center has rejected this proposal of the UP government for three times. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday announced that his government had sent its recommendation for inclusion of 17 Most Backward Castes (MBC) in Scheduled Caste (SC) list, to the Centre on Friday.
